Newly Diagnosed Patient

Honey you don’t have aids if you have no other disease associated with it. Just because you have been diagnosed with HIV and a low CD4 count doesn’t necessarily mean you have aids.
I have been in your shoes not too long ago (newly diagnosed with similar numbers in July 2018). It does get better, it does get easier.
Take all your meds, do what the doctors say, make sure you eat healthy (as a person with HIV, our bodies use up more protein so be mindful of that) and find someone to talk to.
Your mind is going to go to some dark places. Don’t let those thoughts hold you down. Your numbers will improve if you take your meds and take care of yourself. Lots of life to live, just don’t let this hold you down.
